IYO ROSE

IYO ROSE is an accomplished musician, a graduate of the École Normale de Musique Alfred Cortot, as well as a painter and graphic designer.

She takes great pleasure in interpreting music in the spirit of its composer, but she feels an even stronger urge: to create, and to leave behind something tangible, something real. In painting, she has found a new way of expressing herself as her emotions unfold. Through painting she leaves a trace, and so tames the fleeting nature of performance. Some of her works are plays of light that shift throughout the day, coming to life as the hours pass.

She relishes the challenge of creating bespoke pieces, adapting the dimensions, the colours and the character of the work to a particular space or setting.
